Our Clinical Sleep Physiologist will arrive at your home and complete the full set-up in about 20–30 minutes. This includes explaining the equipment, applying the sensors, and making sure you feel comfortable before we leave.
-
Yes. The equipment is lightweight and portable, so you can walk around your home, relax on the couch, and enjoy your normal bedtime routine as usual. We just ask that you avoid vigorous activity, showering and keep the sensors in place.
-
That’s completely fine. You can still have a sleep study.
If you don’t have Medicare, the study is billed privately. We will let you know the cost upfront before booking so there are no surprises. -
Many tummy sleepers can still comfortably have a sleep study.
The equipment is designed to be low-profile, and our set up Sleep Physiologist can adjust the device placement to help you sleep in your usual position. If you’re a dedicated tummy sleeper, we’ll talk you through the best way to position yourself so the sensors stay secure. -
Your home sleep study is scored by in house by our CCSS Sleep Clinical Physiologist and reviewed by our Sleep & Respiratory Physician. Results are sent back to your referring doctor within 7–10 business days, often sooner. If anything urgent is identified, your doctor will be notified promptly.
-
We aim to book your sleep study within a 2 week waiting period.
